Klassical Dream was outstanding in the Supreme and looks to go to the very top in the 2m Hurdling division.

This site is to share my views on the sport we all love, National Hunt racing. Any feedback, shares, RTs are greatly appreciated. I am trying to keep things simple whilst also trying to do things a little differently to give people a more explorative view of the sport. An avid follower of British and Irish jumps racing, we have a sport where rivalry’s become friendships and success is celebrated.

As always, the Novice Chasers and Novice Hurdlers are a divisions I will focus on a lot, especially the 2 milers. I have or shall go through the various hurdling divisions from last season and highlight horses that can either match their hurdling ability or even improve for the bigger obstacles. Dynamite Dollars, a prime example of a horse improving massively on their hurdling ability, when switched to fences last season. After achieving a rating of 132 over hurdles he excelled over fences, only beaten once and ending on OR 155.

Since I began following the sport 5 years ago, despite being from the North, as a rule, I've always followed and focused on Southern based trainers/horses. This year, I shall be making more of an effort to look into the Northern racing scene to find some hidden gems, to compete with the South. With Donald McCain coming back to life last season and jockey championship contender; Brian Hughes teaming up again this year, it could be a prosperous year for Northern Racing.
